Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with expertise in Chicago building codes and regulations, new construction projects, and an active OSHA 30 certification to lead our Chicago residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing on-site operations, maintaining project timelines, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with Chicago-specific building codes and regulations.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Enforce safety protocols and ensure job sites comply with OSHA 30 standards.

Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Address and resolve issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project integrity.

Conduct regular progress meetings with team members and stakeholders.

Oversee quality control to deliver top-notch results that meet client expectations.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction.

Demonstrated experience managing new construction projects is required.

Comprehensive knowledge of Chicago building codes and permitting processes.

Active OSHA 30 certification (required).

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.
